Classes: Druids and Rogues mainly, along with Hunters and Shamans

Classes: Druids and Rogues mainly, along with Hunters and Shamans

1-100: The first few levels are Light Leather and Light Hides. Light Leather can be found on any creature 1-27 and Light Hides on creatures 10-27. Just start off with Light Armor kits up to level 35 and then start making Cured Light Hides to reach 55. From this point you should start making Embossed Leather Gloves to reach 85 with Light Leather belts to finish off at 100. Easy

101-150: Start off by making Cured Medium Hides for the first 20 levels, foudn on creatures 15-36. Move onto Fine Leather Belts to reach 125 (6 Light Leather each) and then the rest to 150 on Dark Leather Belts (1 x Fine leather belt + 1 x Cured Medium hide). These first two levels 1-100 and 101-150 are about 15g each for materials at a AH

151-205: Now you simply move into Heavy Leather and Heavy Hides, skin creatures levels 35-46. Start by crafting Cured Heavy Hides to get to 160 and then switch to heavy armour kits to reach 170. From 170-180 you’ll need to make Dusky Leather leggings (10 x Heavy Leather, 1 x Black Dye and two Fine Threads each). A big drain on the leather, so get skinning! Babaric Shoulders will get you to 190, and also are a good auction item and then move onto Dusky Armor with Dusky Braces and Dusky Belts which will get you to 205. Dye and Thread can be found a Tailoring and Leatherworking supplies. Iron Buckle for the Dusky belts needs to be made by a blacksmith. All up, 100g from an AH for these items.

205-250: The specilisation that you chose (Elemental, Dragonscale or Tribal) will determine how things go from here on. Each of these require lots and lots of thick leather, lots..so find lots and lots of creatures 35-63. For the sake of brevity, we’ll look at Elemental which to get to 230 you’ll require Nightscape Headbands and Tunics. once you get to 230 move to Nightscape Pants to reach 250. If you don’t feel like lots and lots of skinning and grinding for thick leather, then this weill all set you back the low low sum of 150g at an AH

250-300: Next you’ll make Nightscape Boots to get up to level 260 and then finally move away from all things Nightscape onto Rugged Leather, from level 43-63 critters making Wicked Leather Gauntlets (8 x Rugged Leather, 1 x black dye and 1 x Rune Thread) this should see you to 270. From here move to Wicked Leather Braces (same as Gauntlets) to 285 and then Wicked Leather Headbands (12 x RL, 1 x Black Dye and 1 x Rune Thread) and you’ll reach 300. All up 300g at the AH.

301-375: Ok, off to Outland where you’ll need Knothide Leather for your skillz creatures 60-70 or for more fun from 5 x Knothide Leather scraps. You can get to 310 simply by making leather from the scraps. Form 310-320 make Wild Draenish Gloves and then Thick Draenic Boots to reach 325. Move onto Thick Draenic Vests to reach 340. The next 15 or so skill levels come from Felscale Breastplates (14 x Knothide Leader, 3 x Fel Scales and 3 x Rune Thread each). You’ll find Fel Scales on creatures like Ravagers and Basilisks.

To reach 365 make Heavy Clefthood Boots (4 x Heavy Knothide, 20 x Think Clefthoof Leather, 4 x Primal Earth and 2 x Rune Thread), grind baby…grind. Finally you need to make Felstalker Braces (6 x Heavy Knothide, 6 x Fel Hide, 6 x Crystal infused leather, 4 x Primal Air and 2 x Rune Thread) that is to 270. So really finally, truly lastly you need to make Drums of Panic (2 x Heavy Knothide Leather and 2 x Primal Shadow each). Easier way, 1500g from the AH. You see this is why you need all that Gold!

Leveling way to slow? Want to get to level 80 quickly? Do you need gold to buy your epic mounts and get rare items?

The first few levels will be dealt with thing materials that you can find Copper veins.

Classes: Warriors, Paladins and Death Knights

1 -75: The first few levels will be dealt with thing materials that you can find Copper veins. Start wtih Rough Sharpening Stones until 25, then move to Rough Grinding Stones to 45, once you have lots of cooper (easily done at this stage) start making Copper Chain belts, six bars each until you hit 75. Best places, Durotar and Khaz Modan

76-125: You will start to find Tin and Silver in the same areas you would level your toon up through the teens. Get the first few by making Coarse Grinding Stoes and then at 80 switch to Runed Copper Belts until you hit 100. Use the first few silver bars to 105 making Silver Rods. To get up to level 125 you want to be making Rough Bronze Leggings, done by smelting one Tin Bar and one Copper Bar together to get Bronze.

126 – 200: Iron and Gold will be the next veins you need. Start off with Heavy Grinding Stones, use your first few Gold Bars to produce Golden Rods, you can sell these to enchanters. At 150 swtich over to making Green Iron Leggings (8xIron bars, 1xHeavy Grinding Stone, 1xGreen Die). Green Iron braces will get you to 185, (6 x Iron Bars, 1 x Green Die each) and your last 15 skills points to 200 should come Golden scale braces. All items from the AH will set you back about 250g

201 – 250: This is where you will start to mine Mithril and your character should be in the 30s – 40s. Solid Grinding Stones will get you to 210, you’ll then need Golden Scale Braces to get to 215. To level to 235 you will need to make Steel Plate Helms and then start using some of your early Mithril to make Mithril Coifs which will take you to 250. At this stage if you are looking to purchase all from an AH, will set you back about 500g

251 – 300: For your last period on Azeroth you need Thorium veins and get your first 10 skill from making Dense Sharpening Stones. Now, depending on which specialisation you will get to 270 by making either Earthforged Leggings (Armorsmith), Light Earhforged Blades (Swordsmith), Light Earthforged Hammers (Hammersmith) or Light Skyforged Axes (Axesmith). Each of these require Thorium and ieher Cores of Earth, Hearts of Fire or Breaths of Winds. Phew, to get to 300 start making Imperial Plate Braces and then Imperial Plate Boots. All told 1000 gold at the AH

301 – 360: Now that you have hit 300, you can head over to Outlands. Here your first veins will be Fel Iron and start by making Fel Weightstones and then move to Fel Iron belts to reach 320. To hit 325 you should be using Adamantite to make Lesser Runes of Warding and then switch to Adamantite Breastpaltes to reach 335. Adamantite Cleavers will take you to 340 and Lesser Wards of Shielding will get you to 345 and finally Adamantite Rapier and Adamantite Weightstones will get you to 360. Needless to say, it takes a lot longer to hit these levels then previosuly experienced. About 550g from the AH.

361 – 375: You last lot of levels, will cost plenty of cash from an AH, lots of farming, or a genrous guild. If you choose Aldor, you will make Flamebane Gloves to get to 370 and finish with Flamebane Breastplates to 375. This alone would cost 4k in gold or farm the Primal Water and Fires yourself. Scyer Smiths will be able to make Enchanted Adamantite Belts all the way to 375, but you’ll need an Enchanter pal to help with the materials otherwise you are looking a $2k in gold at the AH.

Leveling way to slow? Want to get to level 80 quickly? Do you need gold to buy your epic mounts and get rare items?
